Rental Agreement/Policies and Procedures
Check-in: is at 4:00 P.M. Please do not attempt to check in earlier. Check out is at 11:00 A.M. All reservations must be paid in full prior to arrival. Upon your final payment we will supply you with the key code and maps to our cabin.
Payments
A $150 deposit is required to hold your reservation. This deposit will be refunded to you shortly after you check out. This deposit does not go towards your rental amount, it is held as a security for any major damages. Security deposits are waived for returning guests or referrals from returning guests. Our cabin is checked thoroughly by our housekeeping before and after each guest, if you find any damage when you check in report it to housekeeping immediately.(within one hour of your arrival)
After your deposit is received you will receive a confirmation from us with your dates. All payments must be completed two weeks prior to the arrival date. (We do all our credit card transactions through PAYPAL or credit card online payments; we at no time handle your private account information.)We also accept personal checks if reservations are made far in advance. Please call us if you need help paying online.
Cancellations
We will issue a full refund of your deposit for reservations cancelled 30 days prior to your arrival date. Refunds are not provided if you cancel within 30 days of your reservation. In the event that you must cancel after the 30 day period, we will give you the option of applying the deposit to another date.
Our Cabin is
Supplied with towels, linens for beds (including sleeper sofa)
Cookware and dishware
Firewood (we do not supply the kindling)
Fireplaces are cleaned and closed April thru September
During this closed off period a $25 fee will be assessed if the fireplace is used
A starter set of soap supplies, toilet paper, and paper towels
Dishwasher, microwave oven, washer and dryer
Hot Tub
Hot tubs and Jacuzzis should be entered at your own risk. There are health risks associated with the use of hot tubs---use with discretion and at your sole responsibility. Never leave children unattended in the hot tub or Jacuzzis. Our cabin has well water so it is quite common to see mineral deposits in the hot tub. Always keep the cover on the tub when not in use, turn off the jets when done, and turn down the temp. dial to 90-95.
**Hot tub covers are fragile and expensive, please place upright next to the tub when tub is in use, do not allow children to walk or jump on it. Use the provided handles to move cover not the heat guard flaps. Damages to the hot tub cover will be charged to the guest.
Pool table
Our cabin has a pool table, do not allow children on the pool table as this is dangerous and damages the felt. Any damage to the pool table or its components will be charged to the guest.
Maintenance and Housekeeping
We perform regular maintenance and make every effort to keep all amenities in good working order. As in any home, appliances, hot tubs, A/C and heating units, satellite TV, fireplaces, etc. may malfunction on occasion and while we do not offer refunds or discounts for such inconveniences, we will make every effort to correct any problems that may arise during your stay. Please report all maintenance issues immediately to our housekeeper, Cabin Services Inc. 865-774-0132.
Damages and Excessive Cleaning
In the event of damage or the need for excessive cleaning after your departure, you will be charged for the extra time housekeeping requires and any inconvenience that you caused to our incoming guests.
Weather
During the winter months, caution should be used and local weather bulletins followed. We do not offer discounts or refunds if you are unable to arrive to the cabin due to increment weather conditions. We provide salt for the driveway.
Telephone Service
Local calls are free. Long distance calls are blocked. Calling cards or any other card using a 1-800 number to access is accepted.
Pets
We allow small, well behaved pets, (up to 35 lbs). Pets must have all their shots up to date and be on a flea and tick prevention program. There is a $35 non refundable fee for lodging pets. Pets must also be kept in a travel kennel when owner is away from the cabin. Puppies are not allowed. If you are traveling with a pet please make sure to notify us in advance. Guests who bring pets without proper notification will forfeit their deposit. Please clean up after your pet.
Lost and Stolen Items
Keep the doors to your vehicles and the cabin locked when you are not around. We have a keyless entry pad on our door which eliminates the fear of lost and misplaced keys. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
On the day of your departure:
In the summer set the thermostat to 75 degrees and 70 degrees in the winter
Dispose of all food items in the refrigerator.
Bag all trash and take it to the trash cans located outside.
Place all dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on (housekeeping will return them to their place)
Leave all bed linens on the beds and all towels in the bathrooms. (Housekeeping will collect them)
If you moved anything in the cabin return it to its original place before departing so that the housekeeper will not think that something is missing.
Close all windows and lock the front door.
**Tiffany Mountain is a family oowned and operated cabin.
We do not rent to persons under 21 years of age, unless accompanied by an adult.
No house parties of any kind will be tolerated.
This is a non-smoking unit.
We reserve the right to ask any guest that has checked in under false pretenses to leave without a refund.
** I certify that I am at least 21 years of age and that I will be held responsible for the care of the property being rented under my name. I accept the responsibility for damages, theft or extra cleaning charges during my stay or those discovered after my departure.
For our mutual convenience, for simplicity, and to keep it “green,” the Agreement need not be actually signed and returned.
It is understood and agreed that payment upon Invoice signifies that the Agreement has been read, fully understood, and accepted by both parties.
